Our client, a family-owned company in the waste management sector has been supplying electric bin-lifts for the global market for the last 10 years, providing a healthier, safer, cleaner and quieter environment for both the user and the local population. They first took advantage of our management development programme, participating in a workshop designed to support and guide business owners and directors in the search, selection and effective management of overseas agents and distributors.
The next step was a strategic decision to consolidate their position in the UK and the company appointed us as their advisors for the selection of a reliable manufacturing partner who could also offer some on-the ground sales support – a project which bore fruit with the signing of an agreement with an engineering company from Eastern England.
Manufacturing has begun and UK clients are also able to order spare parts directly from the British partner. We are also now carrying out market research and analysis in Germany for them and, with our help, our client will be making a market visit, giving a presentation at the highly-regarded Green Ventures event in Potsdam and meeting prospective partners in the Berlin-Brandenburg area.
