Our client is part of a large privately-owned group. They are a mid-sized business producing software solutions and also providing consultation services. The company took part in an export support programme part-funded by their national Government (under a contract awarded to Europartnerships following our successful tender).
The first step was a profiling exercise in which the client’s partner search and selection requirements were defined. The second step was the delivery of a specially prepared Target Market Report including detailed analysis of the UK opportunities in IT and telecommunications services, with a focus on cloud-based support for business processes. Once in London, our client formally presented their products and services at a Showcase for the Cloud Computing and IT Industry, organised by Europartnerships and attended by 60 invited guests, including policy makers, multipliers, software houses and resellers.
Over two days the company also took part in an individual programme of one–to-one meetings with potential customers and resellers in London and the surrounding area, accompanied by one of our senior advisors. The company established a strategic alliance with a UK partner, at the same time making good contacts and learning a considerable amount about the nature of the opportunity and the most appropriate channels to market.
